U.S. Delta Air Lines plan to resume flights to Russia

The U.S. airline Delta Air Lines plan to resume flights to the Russian Federation starting from May 16 this year. In April 2015, the company decided to stop flying to Russia starting from December 1, 2015.

 

Delta plans flights from Moscow to New York from Sheremetyevo’s Terminal D, one flight on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The departure from Moscow is planned at 13:45, an arrival to New York - at 16:50.

 

Direct flights from Moscow to New York are carried out only by "Aeroflot". "Transaero" and Delta Airlines worked at this direction till the end of last year.

 

In 2015 direct flights to Moscow were stopped by German Air Berlin, Lufthansa, Thai Thai Airways International, Finnish Finnair have reduced a route network in Russia. British low-cost airline of Easyjet will close the direct flight Moscow – London since March 21.
